3) What is the process to change from Barbeque to Smoker? Starting with Barbeque in place, change to smoker by removing charcoal pan, and grate supports. Then add shelf brackets or other accessory for smoked product.
4) Does this automatic smoker unit require electricity? NO, the hands free smoker requires no electricity, or monitoring over the eight to ten hour heating period.
5) What is the capacity of automatic smoker? The automatic smoker attachment holds 10 pounds of charcoal briquettes, or a combination of briquette (lump charcoal); and wood (foil wrapped) over the smoking period, at intervals of your choosing.
6) What is the rate of charcoal to smoker product capacity? The charcoal burns an average of one pound per hour over eight to ten hours with a capacity of #20 to #30 of contents.
7) Does ambient temperature effect automatic hands free smoker performance? NO, some adjustments to burn formula’s will help performance, and rain protection is minimal. Charcoal may be added to automatic hands free smoker, and top of unit stove can be used to regulate heat in smoker. Stove may also act as external warmer. Skillett option does not allow for venting.
8) Can you use rotisserie option with the smoker? YES, the rotisserie functions well with a pan below to catch liquids, and the rotisserie can also be battery powered for convenience, and use in remote locations.
9) In Barbeque configuration, does oven operate at standard temperature? YES, adjustments come from added charcoal, and raising contents higher, and closer to underside of charcoal pan.
10) Is the stove section hot enough to heat oils to achieve fried chicken, or deep fry other foods? YES, the standard cooking heat is capable of most pan fried foods, and added charcoal plate below stove top increases heat.
11) Are you able to oven bake, grill, and stove cook all at once? YES, the unit functions in all heating elements simultaneously, so the menu possibilities are limitless, and satisfy all tastes.
12) What is the rate of charcoal use when baking, grilling, and stove cooking? The volume of charcoal, lump charcoal, and wood would be similar, or less than a standard brand. With the double wall design, burn rate would be less, and heat retention would be greater than single wall brands.
